A snowy Patrickswell and surrounding area captured with a drone
LIMERICK City and County Council have issued an update this Sunday afternoon.
A council spokesperson said the N24, R513, R505, R506 and R507 are in "reasonably good condition".
"Road conditions in the vicinity of Barna are very poor at the moment. There are trees down on the L1222 Creeves to Hogans Quarry but is passable with care. Crews are on the way to remove.
"Snow is staring to get heavy and stick again in the Oola area and Caherconlish," said the council spokesperson.

They said all 14 routes in the Winter Management Plan are being treated and ploughed on an ongoing basis since 8am this morning.
"It is expected to continue until 8pm this evening when the snow event is expected to pass over Limerick. One or two treatments will be required overnight.
"Temperatures are due to drop tonight to -2 and over the next number of days leading to treacherous driving conditions this week with ice and black ice likely.
"The thaw is currently predicted for Friday. We can't guarantee treated routes are ice or frost free due to changing precipitation conditions," stressed the spokesperson.
