LIMERICK All-Star goalkeeper Nickie Quaid is set for his 14th season at inter-county senior level.
"We're looking forward to getting really stuck-in in January when it starts to heat up," said Quaid of 2023.
Limerick are back in training in recent weeks as John Kiely's men put in the "hard yards" ahead of the January 15 start to competitive action for the All-Ireland champions.
Speaking at Monday's launch in Raheen of the Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League, Quaid was quick to explain that Limerick start 2023 with a clean slate.
"It's the start of a new year and what happened last year is kind of irrelevant to what is going to happen this year," he stressed.
